Terms of Service

The service

BuildFox provides scheduling, selections, bidding, purchase orders, budgets, communications, and related tools for residential builders and their teams. Trial workspaces run for 30 days; continued use after the trial requires a paid subscription. Your project data remains yours — if you subscribe, everything you entered during the trial carries forward.

Accounts and acceptable use

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You may only enter contact information for people with whom your business has a genuine working relationship, and you may only send messages related to that relationship.
• You may not use the service to send unsolicited marketing, spam, or unlawful content, or to interfere with the service’s operation or security.

Text messaging terms

BuildFox delivers operational text messages between builders using the platform and their subcontractors, vendors, and clients — schedule updates, bid requests, purchase orders, and conversational replies.

• Message frequency varies based on project activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for assistance.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Mobile phone numbers and opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes — see our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor and can be canceled at any time from your organization’s billing settings; cancellation stops future charges and returns the workspace to read-only at the end of the paid period. Expired trial workspaces that do not subscribe are permanently deleted after a grace period.

Data and privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Project data belongs to the organization that created it.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildFox disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in the service constitutes legal, accounting, or construction advice; you remain responsible for your own business decisions and compliance.
